CPU®s eFCASTM Client is one of the most advanced Operations Tools in the industry.

Used by many different users in the enterprise such as:
• SCADA Operations,
• Corporate Dashboards,
• Business Intelligence,
• Measurement Operations,
• Production Managers,
• Production Accounting,
• Field Operations.

Client Features

Mimics

eFCAS Mimics allow users to get a feel for the process and know instantly what pressures, temperatures, etc. are related to what piece of equipment, thus increasing efficiency as well as the capabilities of your resources.

Alarms and Alarm Management

eFCAS has advanced Alarm configuration and Alarm Management built into the client. Alarms limits can be set per point, or dynamically through the reading of data from a device which is already configured with the proper alarm settings. This ensures that the alarms are only set in one place resulting in less maintenance and a lower probability for error.

Problem Summary

The eFCAS Client can be used by Measurement Operations to Rapidly Identify issues with Flow Computers using the eFCAS Problem Summary Screen.

The Problem Summary Screen provides a summary view of all collected EFM data so users can easily see when data is not collected yet(U), missing(M), suspect(S) or in error(E). A single mouse-click presents the suspect data detail for evaluation.

Manage Composition Utility

The eFCAS Manage Composition Utility is built right into the eFCAS Client and is especially useful for Measurement Operations personnel who are tasked with keeping flow computers updated with the current gas or liquid composition in the meter.

This utility allows users to keep track of, monitor, and upload meter configuration to flow computers already in the system. It can also tell you when something is not correct by running a quick validation on the data at any time. The system will check the data being pulled from the meter against the actual configuration.

Trending

Advanced Trending
• Single & Multi-channel and Right-click Trending—Up to 10 y-axes,
• Turn channels on and off on-the-fly to easily visualize data,
• Exporting Trend Data—To CSV, Excel, or an image,
• Trend Curve Analysis and Anomalies,
• Annotate Real-time and automatically store it within the history database,
• Multiple Horizontal and Vertical cursors,
• Data Scrubbing,
• Track updates in real-time,
• And More!

EFM Data Editing and Recalculation

eFCAS presents tabular and graphical views of edited EFM data and original EFM data. eFCAS securely stores original data - which cannot be edited - along with the edited data. All data editing is tracked in an audit trail, capturing user's name, time of, and reasons for, changes. eFCAS recalculates volumes using the latest AGA standards, both detail and gross methods, as well as NX-19. Following validation, data can be transferred to corporate information systems.

When a user selects specific data for editing, the user is presented with a table containing volume and—depending on user preferences—parameters such as pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and specific gravity values for each sample. The table may be scrolled in either direction, using scroll bars, or dragging a selection. Markers between rows in the table indicate the start and end of each contract day for the selected meter run.

Tabular and Graphical Views of EFM Data

The tabular and graphical views of EFM data, gas analysis and characteristics are presented identically for both viewing and editing, but editing features are removed if a user does not have edit privilege for a given flow computer. Users may select which parameters are displayed in tables and in which order. Users may also print ranges of tabular data, ranges of graphical data, or detail for a given sample.

Missing data is indicated in the tabular views, with time stamps for any missing entries, corresponding to the sample interval for the flow computer. Missing data that is Uncollected, and Suspect data are visually different from each other and from known good data.

The tree view provides easy visualization and organization of all meters, meter stations, and flow computers in your enterprise. It also provides easy navigation to configuration parameters for flow computers and meters—such as calculation methods and meter limits.

Storage

All eFCAS data, both EFM Historical and Real-time Historical, is stored in secure, enterprise SQL databases.

Reports

The eFCAS advanced reporting system allows the user to produce standard eFCAS reports or user-developed ad-hoc reports.

Report Editing

The eFCAS Report Editor is built right into the user tool and any report can be modified by users with the proper credentials.
